Rs 500 is enough

Yesterday i was roaming with my friend for getting his duplicate 12th mark sheet as he lost his original. For getting a duplicate we need a certificate from police which should be given at taluk office where they will issue another certificate which should be given to the school. So we went to Arumbakam police station to got the certificate. After getting we then went to Taluk office Egmore. There as we were entering the office a person approached us asking what we want. We explained him everything. We were made to wait for few minutes as he was talking to another person who wanted community certificate. He asked them Rs 700 for completing the formalities and getting the certificate. After sometime he sent us to another person nearby. He asked us to get a letter from my friend's father addressed to Thasildar. Later he told us that Rs 500 will be enough for completing the formalities and getting the certificate. I got stunned for a minute. It is the first time in my life i experienced such things in my life. If this is the state how will poor can survive. Is this the situation in both the DMK and ADMK government?? Only god can save our country from such things.

World Cup - A Preview

FIFA World Cup 2006 begins today. This is the 18th edition taking place at Germany. 32 teams are participating in the tournament and 64 matches will be played. Brazil is defending the title for the 5th time, most by any country. Host Germans will kick off their campaign today against Costa Rica at Munich without their captain Michael Ballack, who is out due to injury. Out of the previous 17 edition, teams from South America have won it 9 times whereas teams from Europe have won 8 times with Brazil being the maximum with 5 trophies and as expected odds favour Brazil. However no South American team have won in Europe except for Brazil in 1958.

Germany eventhough not as strong as it was earlier has a great record at home with only Brazil beating them in the last 2 years. Supported by a huge fan crowd, Germany cannot be written off. Players like Miraslov Klose, Michael Ballack and Oliver Khan have to play key role for their win.

England, playing as one of the strongest contenders will be delighted by the return of striker Wayne Rooney. Beckham, Gerrard are in their prime form and it has got one of the best defence with Cole, Campbell, Ferdinand. However they will be missing David Seaman who was one of the finest goal keepers. Odds says England is the team to beat after Brazil.

France, after their poor display in the previous edition will look to perform better than what they did in the previous edition. It has got some great players like Zidane, Henry and its time for these players to strike for their country inorder to restore their pride.

Italy called as Azauri blues too will look to restore their pride in the game. After a disatarous 2002 world cup and Euro 2004 and a poor show in the warm up matches, it has to lift the game inorder to win their 4th title.

Argentina, one of the strongest team in the tournament will be playing for their 3rd title. Teenage sensation Messi, already tagged as next Maradona will be the player to watch. With the confidence being sky high after a stupendous performance in the qualifiers, Argentina starts as the favourites after Brazil and England for the title.

Other contenders include Sweden, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Portugal, Spain. Eventhough these team have the ability to be the champions they have failed to perform when it mattered. But nothing can be written off till the final whistle is blown on 9th july.

Eureka...

With the quota being implemented and everything under control, there were voices saying that quota should be based on economical background and should not be based on caste. Yes, thats right and i personally support the idea. However in a country like India will we be able to find out who are all economically backward??? When people are able to get a SC certificate for an amount is it not possible for them to get a certificate saying that they are economically backward????One of my friend said that caste should be abolished as in France. Is it possible to compare India and France??? Ok, even if we abolish caste, is it possible in India to control the people's sentiments??? Indians are more sentimental towards God and religion. Ok, imagine that we have controlled that too, but will we be able to change the people's mentality who are ready to do anything to be eligible for reservation. Oh..it has become a cycle. I came back to the same point from where i have started. Atlast i found out the way to change India's fortune. People's mentallity should be changed and i think it will take a lot of time.

Driving Licence

Myself and my friend were talking about the placements and other stuffs in our class.

Myself: Why the companies are asking for four wheeler licence

Friend: If you go abroad public transport will not be as good as in India. So for travelling you need licence.

Myself: Oh!!!ok...

But after a few minutes i thought how can a person drive a car abroad using an Indian licence.

Thank God i realised it soon, else i would have told the same to someone else.

A trip to capital

It was December 2005 when myself and my friend Prakash went to New Delhi, India's political capital. We both had great experience there and i think i would like to share.

Day1: We both boarded the train at chennai central. The night went smoothly with no problem

Day2: Day time we had no problem, but the real problem came during the night. Since it was a night train i went with a cotton pyjama. As the train crossed Madhya Pradesh temperature dropped to around 4 degress. I had 2 bedsheets but that was not enough. I was shivering. However Prakash had a deep sleep. the whole night i was sleepless.

Day3: We reached Delhi and was picked up by my family friend and we stayed their in R.K.Puram. We took bath and breakfast and went for a walk to a market nearby. The day passed on smoothly and as usual during the night we felt cold. But thank god we had rug to protect ourselves from winter. In the evening we visited Balaji temple which was nearby and the sarojini market where bomb blast took place few months ago.

Day4: Prakash had interview at National Stadium. After attending the interview we went to India Gate then walked down to Rashtrapathi Bhavan. We walked for around 3 KM. From there we went to Parliament. Then we took a metro rail and thought of going to Red Fort. But we didnt know where to get down. I asked a person there and we got down at that station. It was Old Delhi. The place was so different from New Delhi. It was so crowded such that Prakash got frightened and we again took a metro rail and got down at the last stop. There we were roaming for few mins and again took a metro rail and came back to Parliament. From there we took an auto and went to R.K.Puram. The day then went well.

Day5: I had interview at the same place. It was Vijay Diwas and all the arms that were used during 1971 war was on display. So we had a glimpse of it and had a Bhel Puri. It was so hot that we emptied a chill 1 litre Fanta in 5 mins and the temperature outside was around 5 to 6 degrees. Then we again took the metro rail and got down at Cannought Place and had our lunch. Then we went to Paalika Bazaar, an underground shopping mall. We purchased few things and took an auto to R.K.Puram. Then we visited Mother ashram near by and then to Prakash's friend's house. We spent few minutes there and came back. It was semester time for us. So we took a flight to Chennai, but fortunately or unfortunately the exam was postponed due to heavy rain.

It was a great experience eventhough was a short trip. We enjoyed each and every moment over there and I enjoyed the climate a lot. It was cold but after a long time i experienced such a climate.

Power Theft in Delhi

Its May and the mercury is rising new heights in several parts of the country especially in North India where the temperature has gone more than 45 degrees. People started switch on their AC early in the morning to beat the heat. But this has backfired them especially in New Delhi. There has been a plenty of power cuts all throughout the day.

Why this power cuts happening???

Almost 40% of the total power in Delhi is being stolen every day and in this 60% is used by domestic users and the remaining 40% is given for industries.

My way of looking at GOD

This is just my view and not intended to hurt anyone's feelings.

Everyone in this world believe in God and i am no exception. There are so many religion and each has their own God. Everyone worship God for their welfare and wants everything done by God. However there is an important fact which many couldn't understand.

Will God come in person and help people?

The answer is NO.

Then does this mean God does not exists.

NO, God exists.

Quite confusing right!!!

Ok let me explain this concept.

Actually the following was a conversation between Kamal Hassan and Madhavan in the movie Anbe Sivam ( i may not be correct with the dialogues) which made me think who God is.

Madhavan : (crying) Ean ippadi nadakanum

Kamal Hassan: Ean enna aachu

Madhavan : Ethuku kedaikatha oru blood group onnu kedavachi avana pozhaka vechi ippo.... avana ean savadikanum. Ippo than enaku kadavul irukara illiya nu santhegam varthu. Illa illa naa ungala madiri illa. Enaku kadavul nambikai iruku.

Kamal : Enaku kadavul nambikai illa nu yaar sonna.

Madhavan : Oh! Enna thideernu. Yaar antha kadavul

Kamal : Nee than

Madhavan : Naa na. Onnum puriyalayae

Kamal :Munna pinna theriyatha oruthanuku kaneer sinthariyae athan kadavul.

Hope those who had read this would have understood what I am trying to say.
Any comments are welcome.

Once again no ill feelings as this just my way of how i look at God and not intended to hurt anyone.

A Musician Par Excellence

Born and brought up in a remote village near Kambam, Ilayaraja one of the greatest music directors of all time India has ever produced. He is the first Asian to symphony for London Philharmonic Orchestra. Raja as people call him has scored music for over 1000 films (albums) in a span of 28 years. Annakili directed by Mohan in 1976 marked his entry into Tamil film industry. He has scored music for many great directors which includes K.Balachander, Maniratnam, Bharathiraja.

Came to Chennai at the age of 29,learned guitar and piano under Dhanraj master and later earned his diploma in music in London's Trinity College of Music. He has won 3 national awards for the film Sagara Sangamam, Sindhu Bhairavi and Rudra Veena. Apart from scoring music, Raja likes to write poetry not only in Tamil but in Hindi as well. He has a great passion for photography and painting. He is a spritual person and has composed several devotional songs on Ramana Maharishi and the latest being Thiruvasagam, which was a huge success among the public.

His song "Rakama Kaiya Thatu" in Thalapathi was the number one song in BBC's list of best song. He was the music composer for the 1996 Miss World held at Banglore. He had a great affinity towards carnatic music which is evident from his works. He gave music of life time for the film Sindhu Bhairavi which was of carnatic style. He also invented a raga named Panchamukhi. He also penned his own Keertanas.

One interesting fact about Raja is that during the 80's films ran for more than 100 days jus for the sake of his name. Songs which he composed during those period was a instant hit. He has scored music in many languages which includes Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi and English. He has produced some great compositions which includes:

  • Sindhu Bhairavi
  • Salangai Oli
  • Puthu Puthu Arthangal
  • Hey Raam
  • Thevar Magan
  • Poovae Poochudava
  • Agni Natchatiram
  • Anjali
  • Nayagan
Apart from films, Raja has scored various albums like "How To Name It", "Nothing But Wind" which are mind blowing. Raja's music has bought laurels not only to TamilNadu but for the whole nation. We should be proud of him. According to me he is one of the pride of India.

What a leader!!!

India has produced great leaders who fought for the nation's freedom. Not only India, every country has got great leaders. However no country could have seen such a leader who is the Railway Minister and other is former chief minister of Bihar. The respect they give for the country is such that no one in this world would have given. Confused about this, just take a look at this photo and you will understand what it is.

These two leaders were sitting when national anthem was being played and i still couldn't understand how they ruled Bihar for 15 years. Hope atleast after seeing this people will realise and vote them out of power in the future.

Budhiya Singh

A 5 yr old child from Orissa went for a long run of more than a marathon and half before retiring a mile short of his goal. With his coach by his side on a bicycle, Budhia Singh started from his hometown at 4:00 AM and ran for 40 miles in just 7 hours. Soldiers, Ambulance and Doctors accompanied this kid. He had hoped to reach CRPF head quarters at 11 AM but fell short of his goal. The boy fell on the ground and was taken to the hospital near by where the doctors reported he was in stable condition. This child could be the answer for India's challenge in Athletics at the world level if he is trained properly and i hope the government supports Budhia.

Who Will Win???

THE BATTLE CONTINUES

With elections round the corner the political parties fighting it out in the streets of Tamil Nadu, campaigning for their candidates. With the pre-poll surveys predicting a close contest between the ruling AIADMK and DMK, both the parties are confident of getting clear majority. However history suggests that which ever party has a pre-poll alliance wins the election. In 2001, AIADMK had a grand alliance with the then TMC (now joined with Congress) and other parties. But this time around it is the reversal where the DMK has a grand alliance called Democratic People's Alliance which comprises of Congress, PMK, CPI, CPI-M and of course DMK whereas AIADMK has joined hands with MDMK and DPI. But nothing can be written off before the elections. If DMK wins then this will be the 5th time that M.Karunanidhi will be the chief minister of Tamil Nadu whereas Jayalalitha is seeking her 3rd term as the chief minister.
This election will see AIADMK contesting in 182 seats, 35 seats for MDMK, 9 to DPI whereas DMK will contest in 129 seats, 48 to Congress, 31 to PMK, 13 to CPI, while CPM and UML got 10 and 3 seats respectively.

Lets look at the manifesto of both the parties:

DMK:
  • Rice at Rs 2/kg.
  • A free colour TV for women of every family.
  • Rs 1000 maternity assistance for 6 months.
  • Free gas stove for every poor family.
  • Coop loans to farmers to be waived.
  • Free power to ryots, weavers.
  • Reservation for minorities.
  • Free electricity to Weavers in addition to farmers.
  • 2 acres of land to the landless poor families.
  • Old age pension increased to Rs.400/-

AIADMK:
  • 5 lakh IT Jobs in 5 years.
  • Opening a Engineering colleges equivalent to IIT Chennai in more then 5 major cities of Tamilnadu.
  • Ensure Tamilnadu garden of peace.
  • Develop new technology for more growth.
  • Take the states economy to new heights.
  • Introduce more development schemes for people’s welfare.
  • Eradicate illiteracy.
  • Improve the lot of women.
  • Attracting foreign companies to invest in Tamilnadu.
  • Works towards prosperity of farmers, weavers, fishermen, students, government employees, teachers, workers and other sections of peoples.
  • Control prices.
  • Snuff out communalism, extremism, un separatism.
  • Deal with inter-state issues in amicable manner.

Other than these two parties, other parties contesting the elections are Vijaykanths's DMDK, BJP, and Lok Paritran started by the IIT'ans. Eventhough Lok Paritran is contesting only in 5 to 6 seats hope they ll bring some change in TamilNadu politics.

Indian Music

Indian music is one of the oldest and the richest in the world. In India, the word music is called as SANGEETHA which means the art of singing, playing of instruments and dancing. Indian music is composed of two major components namely RAGA and TALA. Raga is the structure of melody whereas Tala is the structure of rythm. The former deals with the rise and fall of sounds and the latter deals with the pattern of beats.

Tala is the pulse of Indian music. The term Tala is derived from the Sanskrit word 'Tal' which means to strike with palms. Early musicians may have employed claps or palm-strokes to mark time in dance and music which later developed into a complicated system of 108 talas of classical music. It is a time cycle that remains fixed through out a particular rendering. Tala, binds music together and offer a regularity that calms the mind.

Raga is the basic scale or note-pattern of a melody formed by selecting notes from the thirteen tonal intervals, conventionally established in the octave space. The notes are selected from ascending as well as descending progressions. They are Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni in the ascending order and Sa, Ni, Dha, Pa, Ma, Ga, Re, Sa in the descending order. Frameworks, thus provided by the selected notes function as the ground-plan. Musicians can elaborate Ragas on the basis of this plan and create more tonal patterns pleasing to the ears of the listeners.

In India two types of music exits namely Hindustani and Carnatic. The former is follwed in the North while the latter in South.

Hindustani music offers various kinds of music namely Dhruvapada, Khyal, Thumari, Tappa and Ghazal. Some of the well known instruments used in Hindustani music are
  • the sitar.
  • the sarod.
  • the rudraveena.
  • the santoor.
  • the flute.
  • the shehnai .
  • the sarangi.

Carnatic music require deeper understanding of vocal notes. It is rigid and deeply spiritual. The important element in carnatic music is "Kirti", a composition of three elements. The three great composers of carnatic music called TRINITY of carnatic music are Thyagaraja, Shyama Shastri and Muthuswamy Dikshithar. Some of the instruments used in carnatic music are
  • the flute.
  • the violin.
  • the veena.
  • the nadaswaram.
  • the gottuvadyam.
Some of the music festival celebrated in India are :
  • Chembai Music Festival, Kerala in September.
  • Dover Lane Music Festival, West Bengal in December-January.
  • Saptak Music Festival, Gujarat in January.
  • Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahotsav, Maharashtra in December.
  • Tansen Music Festival, Madhya Pradesh in December.
  • Thyagaraja Music Festival, Tamil Nadu in January.
Some of the well known musicians of India are:
  • M.S.Subhulakshmi- Vocal
  • Ustad Bismillah Khan- Shenai
  • Ustad Zakir Hussain- Tabla

Osama - A brief history

Yet another tape from Osama-bin-Laden stating that West is against the Islams and asked his followers to go to Sudan to fight a proposed UN force. This has become routine since America's war against terror in Afganistan, but still have to find this man who says messiah of islam. Who is this man? What is his background? So many questions......

Lets see who this man is and his life history....

  • Born in Saudi Arabia to a Yemeni family.
  • Left Saudi in 1979 to fight against invasion of Soviet in Afganistan.
  • Ploughed inherited fortune into armed activities.
  • Rarely seen in public.
  • Reported to have at least three wives.
  • Aged 49.
  • Head of the terrorist group Al Qaeda.
Is he a hero or Villain???

Wanted by the CIA for his alleged connections in thew 1998 bombings of American embassies in Africa and on many other international criminal charges.

However he is a hero to many young people in Arab for his fight against discrimination of Islams by the west.

Some of his criminal charges are:
  • 1993 World Trade Center bombings.
  • 1996 killing of US soldiers in Arab.
  • Nairobi and Dar es Salaam Bombs.
  • 2000 attack on USS cole in Yemen.
  • 9/11 attack on World Trade Center.
  • Bombings in Madrid killing as many as 250 people.
From where does he get money to buy arms????

His power is funded on a personal fortune earned by his family's construction business in Saudi Arabia.

The Afghan jihad was backed with American dollars and had the blessing of the governments of Saudi Arabia and Pakistan.

He received security training from the CIA itself, according to Middle Eastern analyst Hazhir Teimourian.

While in Afghanistan, he founded the Maktab al-Khidimat (MAK), which recruited fighters from around the world and imported equipment to aid the Afghan resistance against the Soviet army. Egyptians, Lebanese, Turks and others - numbering thousands in Bin Laden's estimate - joined their Afghan Muslim brothers in the struggle against an ideology that spurned religion.

49.6

I was at my friend's place when this happened. It was the first one day between India and Pakistan at Karachi. We were following the scores through the net. At the end of India's innings the score was displayed in the site as 327 in 49.6 overs. On seeing this myself and my friend were very happy. My friend was so happy that he uttered the following:

"Dai India kalasitaanga da. 327 athuvum 49.6 overs than aayirku da innum innings mudiyala da".

On hearing this i laughed a lot. I couldn't control my emotions. Even my friend couldn't control his emotions. It was a day which i cannot forget. A nice day in my life....

Sangamam is musical show shown on Vijay TV every sunday at 9:30AM to 10:30 AM. Every week a playback singer will be called for the show and will be asked about their experience in the field and with the music directors they worked for. A Letter from Dr.Abdul Kalaam

This is a letter written by Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalaam.....

"I was in Hyderabad giving this lecture, when a 14 year old girl asked me for my autograph. I asked her what her goal in life is.

She replied: I want to live in a developed India .

For her, you and I will have to build this developed India . You must proclaim. India is not an under-developed nation; it is a highly developed nation.

Do you have 10 minutes? Allow me to come back with a vengeance. Got 10 minutes for your country? If yes, then read; otherwise, choice is yours.

YOU say that our government is inefficient.

YOU say that our laws are too old.

YOU say that the municipality does not pick up the garbage.

YOU say that the phones don't work, the railways are a joke,

The airline is the worst in the world, mails never reach their destination.

You say that our country has been fed to the dogs and is the absolute pits.

YOU say, say and say.

What do YOU do about it?

Take a person on his way to Singapore.

Give him a name?

YOURS.

Give him a face?

YOURS.

YOU walk out of the airport and you are at your International best.

In Singapore you don't throw cigarette butts on the roads or eat in the stores.

YOU are as proud of their Underground Links as they are.

You pay $5 (approx. Rs.60) to drive through Orchard Road (equivalent of Mahim Causeway or Pedder Road) between 5 PM and 8 PM.

YOU comeback to the parking lot to punch your parking ticket if you have over-stayed, identity.

In Singapore you don't say anything, DO YOU?

YOU wouldn't dare to eat in public during Ramadan, in Dubai.

YOU would not dare to go out without your head covered in Jeddah.

YOU would not dare to buy an employee of the telephone exchange in London at 10 pounds (Rs.650) a month to, "see to it that my STD and ISD calls are billed to someone else."

YOU would not dare to speed beyond 55 mph (88 km/h) in Washington and then tell the traffic cop, "Jaanta hai main kaun hoon (Do you know who I am?). I am so and so's son. Take your two bucks and get lost."

YOU wouldn't chuck an empty coconut shell anywhere other than the garbage pail on the beaches in Australia and New Zealand.

Why don't YOU spit Paan on the streets of Tokyo?

Why don't YOU use examination jockeys or buy fake certificates in Boston?????

We are still talking of the same YOU.

YOU who can respect and conform to a foreign system in other countries but cannot in your own. You who will thro w papers and cigarettes on the road the moment you touch Indian ground.

If you can be an involved and appreciative citizen in an alien country, why cannot you be the same here in India?

Once in an interview, the famous Ex-municipal Commissioner of Bombay, Mr.Tinaikar, had a point to make.

"Rich people’s dogs are walked on the streets to leave their affluent droppings all over the place," he said. "And then the same people turn around to criticize and blame the authorities for inefficiency and dirty pavements. What do they expect the officers to do? Go down with a broom every time their dog feels the pressure in his bowels?

In America every dog owner has to clean up after his pet has done the job.

Same in Japan. Will the Indian citizen do that here?"

He's right.

We go to the polls to choose a government and after that forfeit all responsibility.

We sit back wanting to be pampered and expect the government to do everything for us whilst our contribution is totally negative. We expect the government to clean up but we are not going to stop chucking garbage all over the place nor are we going to stop to pick a up a stray piece of paper and throw it in the bin.

We expect the railways to provide clean bathrooms but we are not going to learn the proper use of bathrooms.

We want Indian Airlines and Air India to provide the best of food and toiletries but we are not going to stop pilfering at the least opportunity.

This applies even to the staff who is known not to pass on the service to the public.

When it comes to burning social issues like those related to women, dowry, girl child and others, we make loud drawing room protestations and continue to do the reverse at home. Our excuse?

"It's the whole system which has to change, how will it matter if I alone forego my son's rights to a dowry."

So who's going to change the system? What does a system consist of?
Very conveniently for us it consists of our neighbours, other households, other cities, other communities and the government.

But definitely not me and YOU.

When it comes to us actually making a positive contribution to the system we lock ourselves along with our families into a safe cocoon and look into the distance at countries far away and wait for a Mr. Clean to come along & work miracles for us with a majestic sweep of his hand or we leave the country and run away.

Like lazy cowards hounded by our fears we run to America to bask in their glory and praise their system.

When New York becomes insecure we run to England .

When England experiences unemployment, we take the next flight out to the Gulf.

When the Gulf is war struck, we demand to be rescued and brought home by the Indian government.

Everybody is out to abuse and rape the country.

Nobody thinks of feeding the system.

Our conscience is mortgaged to money.

Dear Indians, the article is highly thought inductive, calls for a great deal of introspection and pricks one's conscience too?..

I am echoing J.F. Kennedy's words to his fellow American to relate to Indians?.

"ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA WHAT AMERICA AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY "

Lets do what India needs from us."

Autograph

Life is a mixed bag.It has everything from happiness to sorrowness to embrassment. Everyone wants to remember those golden days which they enjoyed. Everyone will pen down those days in a dairy to remember forever.Since i dont have the practice of writing dairy i use this tool to pen down those memorable days of my life.

18/10/1984
-when i was born on this world.

1988 June-
when i first joined school. This day is very special in my life as on this day i met my best friend Karthikeyan who was my classmate till 12th standard. But he studied well than me and hence went to SVCE and i went to St.Joseph's.

As days passed, then came 2001 Dec when myself, karthikeyan and few other friends were playing cricket. My friend hit the ball high in the air.It fell on a old man's head and blood started coming. The whole park was against us which is obvious. That old man started shouting and another fellow went to call police. But another fellow stopped him saying that we are students. The old man asked us to take him to the hospital and we did so.There he said "sister operation pannanumna pannidunga, selavu evvalavu aanalum ivanga paarthpaanga". I got stunned a minute. But everything went well and the day passed. However i didnt sleep well that night with that incident haunted me a lot.

Then July 2002 when i got admission in St.Joseph's.I really didnt like the college till the 4th year during which i enjoyed a lot.

Then Feb 2003 when i met one of the most important person in my life. She was a source of inspiration for me when ever i was in distress. She encouraged me a lot all through my college life.

I need to mention my other friends as well especially Jagadish, Bhargav, Balaji, Saravanan, Prakash. They were with me throughout my college life and sure ll be forever.I learnt a lot from them and i learnt how to manage things efficiently through Jagadish. He also taugt me lot about business and he was one of my inspiration which made me to write CAT. However i performed badly.

It was July 2003 (3rd semester of my college life) when i met my girl. But never approached her.

Then 29 th September 2005 when i got placed in Infosys.I think my happiest moment in my life as i had a bad experience the previous year or two during a personality development programme when that guy told that i ll not get placed as my communication skill was bad.

Then it was January 2006 when myself and my school friends were talking on the road when police came and took us away. But was let off later.

Then comes the important phase of my life. It was fag end of my college life when i got great friends. It was around January and March 2006 when i started speaking to them. But as days passed i felt as if we were talking for years. I enjoyed each and every moment i passed with them.

I have penned down only those days which i cherished in my life.I am not interested to post those sorrowful days in my life as i need to enjoy each and every moment of my life and never want to think of those bad old days.

Why I started blogging

Blogging is one of the powerful tool to expres one's view. Some may do it to say some message to this world like the one which published Clinton-Lewinsky controversy. But to be frank i started blogging just because i had no other work.I was so free that my scrap count in orkut increased from single digit to 1000 within a span of 3 months.Eventhough i made lots of good friends through orkut, i had so much time other than that.So from my friend especially Jagadish Kumar i got this idea.So i started blogging.I think this will be a good idea for anyone who are jobless.Infact one can learn a lot from this.So why waiting if you are jobless like me,start blogging.......... hehehehhehehehe

Greatest ever one day match

Sunday witnessed the greatest ever one day match ever played between SA and Australia at the Wanderers,Johanessberg. After winning the toss Australia elected to bat first. They had a great start with wicket-keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist scoring a quickfire 55 of jus 44 balls before getting out to Roger Telemachus. Then captain Ricky Ponting continued his good form scoring a blitzkreig 164 in just 105 balls.A straight six from Symonds took his team total past 400 for the first time in the history of one day cricket beating Sri Lanka's 10 year record of 398/6 against Kenya in 19996 world cup.At the end of 50 overs Australia scored 434/4.
South Africa started their reply with Greame Smith and Boeta Dippenaar. However they had a bad start losing Dippenaar to Bracken when the score was just 3.This brought in Herschelle Gibbs.Bpth Gibbs and Smith played extremely well with the captain scoring 90 of just 55 balls before getting out to Clarke. However Gibbs along with A.B.DeVillers steadied the South African innings by scoring a quickfire century of just 79 balls. The latter then got out when the score was 284.This started SA's slide losin 3 wickets for less than 60 runs. But a gritty innings from Mark Boucher saw the Proteas pull off a historic win scoring 50* off just 43 balls.

One of the greatest one day match.Isn't it????

Tamil Nadu's Political Turnaround

Biggest turnaround in TamilNadu's politics.MDMK joins hands with the ruling party AIADMK for the coming assembly polls this May. MDMK leader Vaiko signed the agreement with AIADMK general secretary and chief minister Dr J.Jayalalitha at her residence on saturday. However Vaiko said that MDMK will continue to support the UPA government at the center eventhough they are out of the DPA alliance in Tamil Nadu.
Mr.Vaiko was the first person to be detained under the POTA act and was imprisoned for 18 months by the AIADMK government for his alleged links with LTTE,a banned organisation in Sri Lanka. This really amazes everyone that how come one person be so shameless.

Is this politics????

Yet another crorepathi

Yet another crorepathi in India.Guess who!!!!! dalit queen MAYAWATHI.She posses huge amount of disproportionate assets worth Rs 8,77, 91,949 and Rs 7,36,03,769 of unaccounted money. The biggest part of this story is that the assests she posses in her own name is 300% more than her declared income and 700% more than the assets she and her relatives posses. Here are some of the list of her assets
  • There is agricultural land worth Rs 19,81,150 in her name alone in Bulandsahar in western Uttar Pradesh.
  • Benami properties worth Rs 88,10,799 in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal bought between 1995 to 2003 - in the name of her father, mother, brother, sister-in-law and a host of other relatives.
  • Unaccounted money Rs 2,27,94,533 has been stated in account number 9195 in Union Bank of India's Motibagh branch in New Delhi.
  • Mayawati also has Rs 23,45,539 in account number 01190/526277 in the State Bank of India branch inside the Parliament building.
  • 51 bank accounts held by her relatives in Uttar Pradesh and Delhi have been linked to her. These accounts have Rs 4,84,63,697 stated in them.
If this continues then in another 10 or 20 years Bill Gates will be replaced at top spot for the world's richest person.

India's woe continues

India's woe in the test matches continues from Karachi.Indian batsmen fail to deliver again barring Jaffer and Kaif and one of India's greatest batsmen Sachin Tendulkar fails again. Its time for the the Indian think-tank to find out a different strategy to save the test match from losing. If this continues then India cannot matchAustralia for which they are trying so hard.
However credit should not be taken away from English bowlers. They pitched the ball in the right area especially Mathew Hoggard and Monty Panesar.Panesar bowled brilliantly and never looked like playing his first match. The sardar bowled intelligently and assisted Hoggard very well.Indian Feilding was hopeless dropping as many as 6 catches which actually turned the match against India.Bowling looked pretty ordinary especially spinners who should have ripped the English batsmen. If the batsmen apply themselves then there is a possibility of saving the test match as there is nothing off the pitch.
