I dont know why people in India go crazy when it comes to cricket World Cup. Many seems to collect the statistics and make their own predictions. Just take a look at some of the predictions people made.

3. Australia lost the Ashes
4. Pope Died
2 years later India won the world Cup!!!
Year 2005
1. Prince Charles got married

Even in the last WC there was prediction that it was good for left hander captions and Ganguly being a left hander India would take the cup.
